Models of TOPAS waste water treatment plants
Variants of TOPAS waste water treatment plants
TOPAS Standard version
- Biological waste water treatment plant with efficiency of 95%
- Patented principle of operation based on alteration of the flowing and regenerating phase
- Built-in sound and lighting signalling of emergency status
- Heat-insulated, steam-proof, removable cap
- Independent sludge tank for anaerobic stability of sludge
- Completely removable technology while servicing the water treatment plant
- Treated water can be discharged into water streams (river, streams, lakes)
- Water can be used for watering of vegetation (with the exception of dropping)
TOPAS Basic version
Basic variant which corresponds to the standard produced types of wastewater treatment plants available on the Czech market. The principle of cleaning remains the same as for the standard version, but compared with the standard version does not contain the following comfort accessories:
- Independent sludge tank
- Heat insulated and steam-proof cap (contains only a basic cap)
- Emergency sound and lighting signalling
- Replaceable technology
TOPAS Version with sand filter
- Unique technical solution of a waste water treatment plant
- Contains built-in sand filter for mechanical completion of the treatment of water at the outflow which during the regeneration phase is automatically washed several times during the day
- The efficiency of the treatment is higher than 98%
- The treated water can be used for penetration into the ground and underground water and for discharging into a rainwater sewerage system
- Recommended type for root and drop watering
TOPAS Version with membrane filtration
- Version with sand filter is further completed with a the further step for treatment – membrane filtration
- Mechanical completion of treatment which removes particles the size of bacteria
- Treated water is completely clean and bacteriologically harmless
- Maintenance of membranes is performed approximately 1x in 6 months
- It is possible to use the water again in the property as utility water (e.g. for flushing the toilet or cleaning)

Tank for treated water
The treated water from the waste water treatment plant can be collected and used for watering or other use in households. Further possibilities of its use depend on the level and the quality of selected final treating facilities.
If you wish to use the treated water only for watering the roots of plants it is sufficient that the discharged water is collected into a pit or reservoir which forms a part of the waste water treatment plant.
For dropping watering (watering of leaves) it is recommended to use final treated water in the version of the waste water treatment plant with a built-in sand filter. This filter catches other minor particles and fully clear water flows into the reservoir, without any odour permeating the utility water. If the tank for the treated water contains a pump with a floating controlled water spray, the garden will be watered automatically when the treated water level increases in the reservoir.
If you have higher requirements and want to use the treated water for washing clothes, flushing toilets or to use the water as industrial water, it is necessary to remove bacteria, i.e. to perform additional treatment, e.g. with a UV lamp, membrane filtration or with chlorides.
