TOM monitoring module
This is an additional monitoring device developed on the basis of experience with the operation of wastewater treatment plants. This module does not control the function of the wastewater treatment plant but only monitors its activity and consequently ensures and makes the service inspection of TOPAS wastewater plants easy.
Its main function is to monitor the activity of the float switch and correct the function of the wastewater treatment plant according to the number of switching and time delays between them. The principle of the cleaning of the wastewater is also ensured by patent No. 282 411 by means of the control float switch directly in the wastewater treatment plant. This means, that in the case of a failure in monitoring system the wastewater treatment plant will still operate normally.
Main advantages of the TOM module:
Selection of modes for the wastewater treatment plant
Depending on the volume of loading of the wastewater treatment plant, it is possible to select either a normal or an economy regime. This module, in terms of the control of the operation of the treatment plant, replaces the currently delivered timer. In the case that the wastewater treatment plant does not have any inflow, the TOM module registers this fact and automatically switches the wastewater treatment plant into maintenance mode which ensures the long term biological function of the wastewater treatment plant without the inflow of wastewater (up to 3 months).
Detection and indication of technological defects
Each defect which can occur is precisely identified by the TOM module and is displayed on the display together with the light and acoustic indication. This significantly decreases the time demands on the servicing of the wastewater treatment plant.
TOM – GSM terminal (GSMT) for remote data transfer
The GSMT module serves for the remote transfer of SMS messages and is primarily used as an additional module to the microcomputer TOM. It was developed as a tool of modern communication with TOM monitoring devices for TOPAS wastewater treatment plants.
The possibilities to use GSMT are very wide ranging. The advantages of this equipment are particularly appreciated by the owners of waste treatment plants who cannot or do not want to regularly check TOM monitoring equipment.
The GSMT makes it possible to the user to monitor the function of the wastewater treatment plant through their mobile telephone. Especially advantageous is the GSMT module for service companies which ensure the service of a greater number of wastewater treatment plants at the same time.
This solution can also be used in the TOP-PRESS system for small and medium sized municipalities with spread out estates which resolves the liquidation of wastewater with the system of local domestic wastewater treatment plants.
Dosing equipment
This is special equipment used for the dosing of substances for treatment of cleaned water, e.g. substances for hardening of phosphorus or dosing of chlorine and other forms of disinfection.
It is also possible to use equipment for dosing of iron salts or other preparations during the removal of biological foam.
House electric control box
House electric control box is additional equipment for a TOPAS wastewater treatment plant which is located inside the property. It contains the following additional elements:
- Timer for interrupted operation of the wastewater treatment plant (e.g. for recreational facilities and in the case of small loading of the wastewater treatment plant by wastewater).
- Independent current protector for the wastewater treatment plant
- Light signalling for the correct function of the wastewater treatment plant
- Thermal protection of the pump for treated water for watering for versions of the TOPAS wastewater treatment plants with an accumulation tank.
SEPTIKUS SE 102P submersible sludge pump
A single-stage, centrifugal pump with a floating switch which enables the pump to be operated in automatic mode.
Method of use in the wastewater treatment plant:
- Pumping of treated water from the reservoir of the wastewater treatment plant and subsequent watering of grassed areas
- Pumping of excessive sludge from the sludge tank
- Pumping of individual chambers of the wastewater treatment plant during service actions

- Low consumption of electric energy (nominal input power 1.15 kW)

Grease trap OTP/ N2-N10
- Two-level grease trap to catch and separate non-emulsified fats and oils contained in the wastewater
- The grease trap protects sewerage piping against excessive sediment or the wastewater treatment plant against technological problems.
- The grease trap is produced as a non-self-supporting water-proof polypropylene tank separated by partition walls into individual function areas: sedimentation, separation and storage for the separated fat.
- Grease traps are designed in accordance with standards and are delivered unassembled.
